Job description

Our client a large water utility company is looking for a Internal Compliance Trainer to work in the Preston area.
 
This is a great opportunity for the ideal person to provide and deliver classroom and field based training including the creating of training materials.

A vehicle, fuel card, phone will also be supplied by the client.
 
The in house / technical trainer is a specialist responsible for increasing a company's productivity by teaching new skills and to grow and retain knowledge to new and established employees.
 
You will use a variety of skills to deliver either face to face or blended learning techniques and assess occupational knowledge to update employees on company and industry procedures.
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
·Deliver practical training sessions to operational staff on Streetworks compliance.
·Providing and delivering classroom-based training.
·Proactively monitor street works quality compliance to ensure that any training requirements are identified.
·Minimising all Streetworks fines by supporting supervisors and operatives.
·Proactively monitor compliance to ensure that any training requirements are identified working with the Training co-ordinators and planners to deliver effective learning economically
·Promote a behavioural safety approach.
·Minimising fines and non-conformances by supporting management and Operatives to reduce and eliminate workmanship issues.
 
Skills and Experience
 
·Ability to deliver streetworks training in a "hands-on" practical and classroom setting.
·Competent user of MS Office, onsite Audit Apps and relevant software
·Level 3 award in education and training or similar, is desirable
·CITB SMSTS, IOSH or similar
·Knowledge of NRSWA 1991, Highways Act 1980, TMA 2004.
