Role - Infrastructure Architect - Cumbria
 
Contract length - 1 Year (home based with once every 2 months site visit)
 
Pay Rate - £500 a day Umbrella
 
Key responsibilities:
·To work alongside with the SENDE Project Manager and Data Architect being responsible for maintaining the SENDE Data Warehouse environment as well as creating the data warehouse build standards for the SENDE Platform.
·As the SENDE DW Developer you will be required to support the full IT Lifecycle for the project(s) assigned to SENDE.
·You will be asked to collaborate and explain data warehouse standards to the other IT stakeholders from the NDA group.
Key Accountabilities:
·Develop the IT infrastructure support or the SENDE platform
·Take responsibility for the infrastructure designs, managing and delivering the implementation.
·Own the disaster recovery, including externally ad internally held systems.
·Ensure changes and project deliverables are replicated and manage regular DR tests.
·Be able to work with the application and architect team, project managers, etc. to produce cloud infrastructure designs for new implementations.
Key Requirements
·Manage MS Azure servers and MS Azure overall, i.e. network and Infrastructure components/services
· Management of alerts from systems and ensuring the appropriate action is performed
· Maintain Exchange Servers and Office 365: hybrid platform
· Administration and support for sequencing of applications
· Working on Cloud related projects - Azure
· Administer Active Directory at Group Policy level
· Testing the security, backup, and recovery of SENDE
· Collaborating with developers using SENDE
· Identifying and mitigating potential risks for SENDE
· Operating as a full member of the SENDE project and BAU support team
