HSE Advisor - Hinkley Point C (HPC)
Contract (6 months Cover)
£450-500 a day (Inside IR35)
Are you a seasoned HSE professional with a background in heavy civils/marine projects?
This role could be for you!
Our client are working on a unique and high profiel project for Hinkley Point and are seeking an HSE advisor with this experience to cover 6 month maternity. There could be opportunities for this to extend but initially 6 months.
!Responsibilities:
·Safety Management: Implement Safety Management Systems and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
·Site Oversight: Conduct inspections, lead risk assessments, and monitor safety procedures on-site.
·Training and Inductions: Deliver inductions, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
·Incident Management: Facilitate investigations, report incidents, and implement corrective actions.
·Data Analysis: Analyze HSE performance data and recommend improvement measures.
·Environmental Compliance: Support environmental regulations and ensure project compliance.
Qualifications:
·Certifications: IOSH membership and NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate.
·Experience: Proven track record in offshore construction with knowledge of relevant regulations.
·Skills: Strong communication, risk assessment, and proficiency in MS Office.
Desirable Qualities:
·Industry Experience: Background in heavy civil engineering or major construction projects.
·Offshore Expertise: Familiarity with offshore operations and regulations.
·Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
