Job description

Our client are seeking an HR professional to work within the Performance and Talent Centre of Expertise to provide a professional HR service to the business focusing on the embedding of a new performance management approach and the development and deployment of the new talent strategy.
 
This is an essential role to support the company's people strategy and the cultural change they want to implement across the business.
 
The role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract, with blend of home working and site based work in Whitehaven, Cumbria available. The role is offered at £19.71 per hour (PAYE) for a 37 hour week,.
 
The Role
 
·Working with an external delivery partner, lead the embedding of a new performance management approach across all levels of the organisation.
·Working with an external delivery partner, lead the transition of this new approach into business as usual.
·Work with the external delivery partner and key stakeholders to develop the new platform toolkit
·Lead on the deployment and embedding of new potential ratings and associated tools across the organisation
·Lead on the embedding of new performance ratings and associated tools across the organisation
·Work with HR IS systems to ensure the New platform System upgrades, and associated employee guidance are launched in a timely manner.
·Support employees with day to day performance and  system queries
·Work with the leadership academy and manifesto programmes to ensure alignment of messaging and language
·Lead on the review and evaluation of performance metrics to drive a high performance culture across the organisation
·Engage with HR Managers to understand the outputs of people performance sessions and succession plans.
·Provide coaching and development to line managers to build managerial/ leadership capability.
·Establish internal/external networks to identify trends and areas of good practice/improvement for sharing across the organisation.
·Support the development of engagement and launch materials for the annual performance management approach and to brief appropriate HR colleagues.
·Provide data and analysis on the progress and effectiveness of talent, leadership and performance solutions.
·Support wider HR projects and programmes as appropriate.
·Support the Evaluation Board process for mini competitions relating to the Leadership framework.
·Lead on the design and development of new talent interventions, aligned to the talent strategy.
·Work with the business and relevant stakeholders to understand and resolve any issues or concern relating to the introduction of talent processes. Share learning across the Talent and Performance Centre of Excellence.
·Analyse data to identify specific trends and actions that need to be taken in relation to business resilience and development.
·Support the deployment of the Leadership Academy
