What we need
Our client are a successful nationwide Highways Contractor who manage a variety Highways Maintenance contracts. We are currently assisting them to find an experienced Site Supervisor to work out of their depot in Cambridgeshire. We have two locations, Whittlesford and March.
 
What you will do
Arrive at the depot each morning to setup workload for each day providing toolbox talks, gang packs and organise material.
You will plan, programme and deliver projects to their client's requirements
Supervise on-site construction and site practises to agreed time scales and budgets.
Negotiate contractual issues and claims from contractors
Interpretation of design and implementation - Make modifications to suit site conditions
 
What you will need to succeed
SSSTS/SMSTS
Several years extensive knowledge and experience in Highways Supervision
Ability to carry out projects with limited supervision
 
Working conditions
Role will require work outdoors
Attend Site visits in Hazardous conditions
Work occasional unsocial hours
