Highways Project Manager
 
Carrington West is recruiting for a Highways Project manager based in the Nottinghamshire.
 
The Highways Project Manager will work in clients engineering division with responsible for ensuring a portfolio is delivered on time and to budget.
 
The Highways Project Manager will have responsibility for Project Managing
 
·The Project Management of a detailed scheme design to agreed programme and budget, ensuring development of design in accordance with the Highways Agency codes of practice, standards and specifications (DMRB, TSRGD, TSM, IANs, MCHW and AMMs) including preparation of any Departures from Standard and Technical Approvals.
·Management of the Develop Schemes process including preparation of reports such as Traffic Management Options Reports, PAR's etc and leading of progress and buildability meetings.
·Providing technical solutions that meet Highways Agency key performance indicators including developing and promoting innovative technical solutions.
·Carrying out risk assessments including designers risk assessments under the CDM Regulations ensuring inherent safety by design.
·Production review and checking of design drawings and design calculations.
·Providing advice and guidance on technical matters
·Supporting the Design Team Lead in resource planning and programming.
