An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Enforcement Officer to join a client in London. Your main duties include licensing items such as scaffolds, skips and cranes on the public highway, enforcing various types of highway obstructions and dangers and ensuring the highway is available and safe for all users.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £24 - £26 per hour + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working and working from home options are available.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Investigate complaints relating to highway infringements and obstructions
·Licensing items such as skips, scaffolds, cranes, street furniture and hoardings
·Working with other departments to prepare and serve statutory notices
·Patrolling certain geographic areas carrying out inspections and investigations
