My client are a large national infrastructure company who have several large projects in the Utilities sectors. They are one of the largest infrastructure delivery contractors in the Utilities industry and have a large focus within water. They are working on a large project with Scottish Water to provide maintenance to their Waste Water Network and ensure the network runs in good order.
 
Currently they are looking for a HGV class 2 driver to join their teams, you will be responsible for driving class 2 trucks to site and transporting teams to projects across the local areas and to assist with labouring projects. This will include laying slabs and curbs. Installing pipelines and other general site activities.
 
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Utilities sector albeit not being needed. You will need to have the following:
 
1.HGV Class 2 driving licence
2.Drivers CPC
3.Manual Handling
4.Emergency first aid - (Desirable)
5.New Roads and Streetworks Act Register operative card (NWRSA) - (Desirable)
6.Abrasive Wheels - (Desirable)
7.Road Roller/ Pedestrian roller NPROS or CPC
 
This is a contract role so you can be paid PAYE or through an umbrella company and you will get an excellent rate, vehicle for work use and the correct PEE.  This is currently a short term contract but it could lead to long term contract employment or a permanent position.
