Opportunity for Graduate Building Services/Sustainability Design Engineer to join a friendly and growing building services and Low Carbon Engineering consultancy in Bristol.
 
Do you want to work with a family feel consultancy on low/zero carbon projects across various sectors including Residential, Leisure, Heritage and more?
 
Do you have a passion for delivering sustainable building solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects?
 
This client is looking for a Graduate Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a permanent basis. Working on design of Sustainable, Low/Zero carbon buildings solutions.
 
Key elements of this role include:
 
·Designing low carbon, sustainable mechanical systems for buildings
·Building Physics analysis to assess designs for energy and carbon performance, daylight, and thermal comfort.
·2D and 3D design using AutoCAD and Revit.
·Engage with design teams during design phase of projects
·Early responsibilities on a range of live projects
 
Experience required
 
·Degree in Engineering or relevant subject, such as mechanical engineering, building services engineering, architectural engineering and physics
·Interest in responding to the climate emergency by providing low carbon engineering solutions
·Be motivated, practically minded, independent, enthusiastic, and personable
·A fluent user of Microsoft Office
·Knowledge or awareness of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or IES (an advantage, but not essential)
·Be a fast and independent leaner with willingness to learn and develop.
