Role Overview
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you'll support the delivery of high-quality transport planning outputs, contributing to projects across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and renewable energy. Key Responsibilities
·Assist in preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and statements to support development applications.
·Undertake data collection, surveys, and initial traffic modelling work.
·Support junction capacity analysis, site access design, and sustainable travel initiatives.
·Produce clear, professional technical reports and contribute to project documentation.
·Collaborate with engineers, planners, and environmental specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
·Liaise with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders under the guidance of senior staff.
Who We're Looking For
·Recent graduate in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline.
·Strong academic background with a clear interest in transport planning.
·Familiarity with transport planning tools/software (e.g., TRICS, TEMPRO, VISSIM, or similar) is advantageous.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
·Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with confidence to engage with clients and stakeholders.
·Motivation to pursue professional development and professional accreditation (e.g., CIHT, ICE).
