My client is an exciting young Fibre Network supplier who supply ultra fast broadband to customers across London in the commercial market. They have been growing their large network across the city and are developing new plans to open up their network to a greater number of customers across the capital.
 
They are a rapidly growing company, working at a rate of 150 new streets per month. Making them one of the fastest growing Fibre networks in the UK. To support this growth they are currently looking for a Fibre planner. You will be delivering a high quality service working to tight deadlines and high quality results for a rapidly growing telecoms design and build company.
 
You will be responsible for the completion of plans in a timely manner and be able to plan to the scheduled workload using workflow and planning tools. You must have experience of working on fibre.

Responsibilities:
·Create Fibre mapping in detail, meeting design specifications for the Fibre Network
·Use MS Office, MapInfo and other applications to plan the network
·Produce plans including PON area plans that align with the network
·Liasie with other areas of the business to ensure plans are correct
 
Qualifications and skills required:
·Experience with Fibreoptics and telecoms inc Fibre types
·An understanding of PONS
·3 years design and planning experience
·Excellent IT skills
·GIS planning experience and Desktop planning experience
·Good communication skills
·ability to work alone and as a team
·Planning experience inc. PIA
