Role: Utility Surveyor
Location: Bristol and surrounding areas
Essential criteria: Previous Utility Surveying experience
Salary: up to £36,000 p/a plus package and bonus
 
My client is a leading survey specialist company and are looking for a junior or experienced Utility surveyor to join them due to project wins. They have an excess of workload and looking to secure an experience Utility surveyor to come in and eventually head a team of Utility Surveyors. In this role you will be operating in a mobile (home based ) with occasional office visits (approximately once per week) to process survey data. Due to the office location and projects, Utility Surveyors will need to be based a commutable range of Bristol.  If you live with in 90 minute commute of Bristol this would be suitable, so locations like Swindon, Reading, Cardiff, Worcester or South Birmingham would be ideal.
 
 A typical day will consist of the below:
·Locating underground utilities - this can vary project to project across: Gas, Electric, Water and Telecoms
·Using GPR Ground Penetrating Radar- RD 8000, Electro Magnetic induction, GPS relating to PAS 128
·Processing survey data using AutoCAD
 
In order to be suitable for this role you MUST HAVE the below:
·Full drivers license ( UK )
·The ability to locate position and route plan from maps using RD800, GPS and Electro Magnetic induction methods.
·Ability to survey and process your own data
·To be suitable for the junior level role you just need to have cat & Genny experience or any exposure to land or utility surveys
 
On offer is a full time permanent position which pays up to £36,000 based on experience + package and bonus based on experience.
 
In addition to this you will be provided with a company van and petrol card.
