Carrington West are working on behalf of an HV/LV design and build contractor, who are currently looking for an Estimator to join their team.
 
For the remainder of 2020, this will be a home-based role, with a view to returning to the company offices in West Norfolk. As such any interested candidates would need to be happy with this commute once the offices re-open.
 
This is a permanent position (the company have been very clear they will not consider and interim/contract option) with a negotiable salary based on relevance and experience.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Manage client requirements and expectations
·Estimate project time scales and cost for 11kV/33kV private networks, remedial works, and connection projects.
·Define individual project deliverables/tasks and subsequent material/resource needs.
·Produce quotations and bids in line with company and customer requirements.
·Obtain prices, negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
·Attend tender review meetings
·Identify additional opportunities for the company and help business growth.
 
Ideal Skills/Experience
 
·Electrical Engineering Degree/HNC (ideally in Power Distribution, or similar)
·Experience in Private Networks and Renewable Energy.
·Understanding of H&S Legislations.
