Are you a Chartered Designated Project Engineer or Engineering Manager with experience undertaking  design assurance on large rail infrastructure projects?
 
Do you have experience working client-side or for a design consultancy on civil/ structural large rail projects?
 
Contract Length: 6 months - Likely Extensions
 
Location: Bicester or Cherwell - Flexible Work Options Available (2 days in the office required)
 
Pay Rate: £650-700/day - Inside IR35 (Paid Umbrella)

Job Description:
My client is looking for a Senior Project Engineer with experience handling the design on large rail infrast Engineering Manager, Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM), Designated Project Engineer (DPE) or Design Manager on large rail infrastructure, and achieved chartered status.
 
This role is working client side on HS2 and will be undertaking design assurance/ CDM and acting as the lead designer. This role would suit a chartered civil engnieer who has experience ideally working client side as Designated Project Engineer or Engineering Manager on large rail projects and has undertaking design assurance.
 
The project is now on the ground and detailed design will go on for around another year. This role requires some one that is use to seeing the design through to delivery on major projects and use to lots of interface.  
 
This role will require some flexibility and the candidate will need to be working from either Bicester office or visiting contractor for 2 days of the week.
 
Requirements:
·Experience operating as either a Engineering Manager, Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM), Designated Project Engineer (DPE) or Design Manager of large rail infrastructure projects.
·Experience managing design on large rail infrastructure carrying projects through detailed design, handling assurance.
·Chartered membership to an appropriate professional body.
·Prior experience working client-side on large rail infrastructure.
