Role: Electrical Field Service Engineer - Water treatment
Location: Field based and candidates can be anywhere in the Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire Lincolnshire areas
Salary:   Up to £39,000 + van + overtime + benefits
Employment: Full time permanent - 44 hour standard working week

My client specialise in industrial water treatment solutions across bespoke design, installation, upgrade and maintenance nationwide.  They cater mainly for industrial manufacturing clients providing bespoke water treatment solutions.
 
In this role you will operating in a field service-based capacity eg provided with a company van where you will typically start and finish your day from home.
 
Due to the nature of the role there will be travel from sites to which are clustered mainly between Cambridge, Peterborough and the surrounding areas. Although on occasion there will be a need for stay away work which will be fully expensed.
 
You will be responsible for providing planed preventative maintenance on a number of industrial water treatment plants across both mechanical and electrical plant aspects.  In addition to this you will also be tasked with reacting to breakdowns and servicing.
 
 
Suitable candidates will have had exposure to water treatment or pump service maintenance as well as hold any of the below qualifications:
 
·Electrical apprenticeship / time served
·ONC / HNC / HND electrical qualification
·NVQ level 3 or 4 in electrical engineering or maintenance
·JIB / C&G part 1 or 2
·16th, 17th or 18th edition
 
 
On offer is a salary of circa £35,000 ( please note there is some flexibility on this figure dependant on experience based working a 44 hour week.
 
Overtime is paid at X1.5 and there is 1 in 4 weekend standby cover which pays £35 p/h for any hours worked.
