Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with HV experience?
Have you worked on major infrastructure projects doing utility diversions?
Location: Working from home
Contract: 6 Months with extensions
Rate: £45 - £55 Per Hour Inside IR35 (Paid Umbrella)
Role Details:
My client is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team working on HS2.
This role has a requirement to carry out LV / 11kV / 33kV OHL to UG Diversions, this role will encompass developing a design using the statutory undertaking web portals and document production.
Additional responsibilities include attending SU meetings to discuss and finalise designs in order to present to the client and liaise with other teams in a timely and professional manner
Essential:
- Experience with thermal and pulling calcs for HV up to 33kV
- DNO substation designs
- Underground cable designs up to 33kV
- Earthing designs for substations
- ETAP or Amtech software experience
- DNO design and documentation experience
- Scheme design experience
Preferred:
- Previous experience working on railway infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience using CAD.
