Opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a friendly and growing building services and Low Carbon Engineering consultancy in Bristol.

Do you have a passion for delivering sustainable building solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects?
 
This client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a permanent basis.
 
Key elements of this role include:
 
·Design electrical systems for multiple projects at various stages
·Design of electrical systems including power, lighting, fire detection, etc.
·Produce drawings
·Participate in preparation of reports and specifications
·Engage with design teams and clients during design phase of projects
·Monitor progress on site, taking a role during commissioning and handover
·Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
 
Experience required
 
·Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant subject
·2-5 years' experience of designing electrical systems for buildings
·Knowledge and experience of working on sustainable projects and be up to date with emerging technologies such as battery storage, PV's and EV charging design
·Interest in responding to the climate emergency by providing low carbon engineering solutions
·Chartered membership of a professional institution (or be working towards this)
·A fluent user of Microsoft Office
·Competence in software such as Amtech, Autocad, Revit and Dialux
