Role: EICA Project Engineer
Location: Maidstone
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 + car/allowance
Start date: ASAP
Our client is a leading M&E contractor who are looking to recruit an EICA Project Engineer to join their busy team who are working on Thames Water AMP7 projects with values up to £10 Million.
Responsibilities include:
·Promote and demonstrate the company's values when dealing with peers, staff, customer and clients
·To work alongside Project Managers in assisting delivery of projects
·To project manage small scale projects, the value and complexity of which will be linked to experience and competence
·Ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and incident free in line with the Bridges Project Management Handbook
·Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to and promote the positive health and wellbeing of the site teams on their allocated projects
·Manage client expectations and foster positive working relationships
·Provide regular feedback to the Project Manager on project performance
·Support project reviews and cascade and implement learning and best practice
·Support Project Managers in the reporting to the business on project performance
·Liaise closely with the site teams to contribute to the successful delivery of a project
Skills and experience:
·Experience within water industry, MEICA, civils
·Proven experience in project delivery / senior site supervision
·Experience in supervising and working on CDM sites
·Experience in working under NEC contracts
·Capable of effectively coordinating teams, including employees and subcontractors
·Understanding of project governance procedures and commercial aspects of projects
·Experience in coordinating with clients and internal / external stakeholders
·Sound knowledge of H&S legislation and regulations
·Ideally SSSTS or SMSTS
·CSCS card
