Are you an experienced project engineer looking for a new role within the rail sector on one of the biggest rail projects in the UK, Barking Riverside?
My client has won a number of projects going into what should be a very successful year for rail and is now looking to grow their team.
Location: Barking Riverside, London
Rate: £320 a day
Start date: ASAP
Contract: 12 months +
Responsibilities:
- Arranging testing materials - Undertaking surveying and setting out duties - Ensure health, safety and environmental requirements are adhered to. - Keeping daily records of progress on site - Managing Factory & Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) - Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly - Supervising contracted staff - Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork - Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or time scales.
Requirements:
- 5 years project engineering experience - Valid PTS - 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification - City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations.
