Role: Driver / Environmental Monitoring Technician
Salary: £17,500 - £20,000 + overtime and benefits
Location: Southam
 
My client is a large contractor that is looking for a Driver / Environmental Monitoring Technician to cover multiple sites across the Midlands with possible travel nationwide.

As this position offers full training with equipment and technical aspects of the role, no previous experience of environmental sampling is needed, however it would be advantageous if you have had water sampling, PH water testing, gas monitoring or air monitoring experience and or has been used to working in a mobile based / service capacity.
 
As a result you will spend a lot of time travelling between sites and must be comfortable driving daily to site up to 3 hours away. Once you have been trained you will be working in an individual capacity where your daily plans and workflow will be delivered to you from a tablet / laptop.
 
 
Essential criteria:
Full UK drivers license and be able to park a company van in your area.
Ability to work outdoors
Be comfortable driving in a field based capacity
Ability to use a tablet / laptop
Live with in less than 40 minutes drive of Southam
 
 
On offer is a salary of £18,000 - £20,000 + overtime and benefits.
