Are you a Drainage Design Engineer with rail experience?
 
Are you looking for you next contract position outside of IR35?
 
My client are a leading design and build contractor who operate on Network Rail's drainage systems and due to increased workloads they need a drainage design engineer asap
 
Location: Central London (home working available but must be based local) will need to travel occasionally to Sussex/ Kent so own vehicle needed
 
Rate: £35-£43 per hour outside IR35
They would also consider a permanent candidate £44,000 - £50,000 per annum plus package
 
Contract: 6 months + very likely to be extended
 
 
Job Role:
 
My client are looking for a drainage engineer who has extensive experience of microdrainage to
work on Network Rail infrastructure undertaking hydraulic designs and ditch renewals. Role will involve creating both long sections and cross sections
 
Due to this role being project based it has been deemed outside IR35
 
The role will involve undertaking some site work surveys and inspections, including the occasional need to work on weekend possessions or night works. This will all be paid overtime so good opportunity to increase pay. Site Surveys will cover throughout the South East of England so own transport will be essential for this role.
 
Requirements:
 
Drainage design engineer with micro drainage experience
 
Previous experience working on Network Rail projects would be a massive advantage - if not my client would consider someone with a good highways/ roads background
 
PTS would be ideal but if not client will put you through it
 
Own transport is a must with willingness to travel to site surveys in Sussex Kent
