My client is a large London based Gas Service, breakdown & Installation company who work on several projects from insurance work through to social housing projects. They are a leading company in the industry and are known for developing their staff and supporting their staff well. They are a leading property maintenance company with a huge Gas engineering arm.
We are currently looking for a domestic gas service support engineer, acting as a support supervisor ensuring the engineers are given the best support and training to minimise danger and increase quality. You will be expected to carry our quality assurance tests & inspections and ensure high standards are met from the demand of the clients and manufactures and ensuring company guidelines are met. You will also need to support staff with new processes, update them on legislation and be cover for absent engineers.
You will be responsible for the local servicing & installation teams. You will be able to analyze, fault find and carry out repairs and services to a high standard and ensure your engineers are doing the same.
The role is based in South East London.
Roles & Responsibilities
·To report on the quality of installations
·To report & quality check any parts fitted
·Check the quality of services
·Ensure engineers are taking enough time on their safety checks
·Carry out HSE assessments
·Develop and improve customer care with the engineers
·Ensure work is up to Gas Safe Standards
·Provide cover for ill or absent staff
·Report write on findings
·Be proud of high Health & Safety Standards
·Support the field operations managers as well as supporting the HSE managers and other senior management
·Report any major issues to senior management
·Ensure correct PPE & equipment is used
·CCN1, CEN1, WAT1 (or CENWAT), CKR1, CPA1
·Full UK driving license
·Health & Safety certification
·Working at heights
·Unvented Hot Water
