Carrington West are assisting their Central London local authority client in the search for a Development Management Planning Officer, to join their Town Planning Team on an initial 3 month rolling contract - 'Fully Remote basis'

The purpose of the role is to deal with a mixed caseload of applications including Householders, Minors, Change of Use, Affordable Housing, and some other more complex applications depending on experience. My client is happy to consider individuals of varying levels, however, you must have previous experience working with Householders and Minors within a local authority as a minimum. Experience within a London Local Authority would also be favourable.
 
The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a similar role and would hold a relevant town planning qualification. Being a chartered RTPI member or working towards chartership would be desirable but is not mandatory.
 
The council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and are offering the role on a 'Fully Remote' basis.
