Development Control / Agreements Engineer

£30 - £32 per hour

An opportunity has arisen for a Development Control / section 278 Engineer with experience in Highways and Public Realm to join a client in London on contract basis. You will be responsible for the planning and the delivery of section 278 and section 38 projects across the area as well as managing a team of engineers

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £30 – £32 per hour – negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements available.

Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
– Providing technical advice on developers proposals in relation to highways and adoptions
– Drafting a long-term strategy for section 278 / 38 highway adoption agreements
– Managing planning applications and liaising between developers / 3rd parties to ensure smooth delivery of works
– Looking after a team of engineers & overseeing their work

Previous experience in Development Control / Engineering and Highways is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Engineers & Technicians with similar backgrounds across the South of UK – please get in touch to find out more.
