Graduate Civil Design Technician- Highways
 
Salary: £23,000-25,000
 
This position will requite you to report to the Design Team Leader, as part of the design engineering team you will be responsible for the design and delivery of Highway, traffic and Civil engineering projects. As an Assistant Engineer you will begin to develop your skills in CAD design and your relationships working with clients and local councils.
 
Whatyou need for the role of Design Technician-
- Understanding of design standards and desirable practices.
- Current and Valid UK drivers license.
- Experience in the use of AutoCad for 2D design work
 
Day to day activity as a Design Technician-
 
- Carrying out the planning designs, programming and ordering of services.
- Maintain records for on going projects.
- Creation of designs using AutoCad.
- Preparing reports for the meetings when needed.
- Managing correspondence to work areas.
- Liaising with the local parish council, public and stakeholders.
