What we need:
We are assisting one of our clients, a busy local authority in South London to find an experienced and capable Correspondence officer for their customer response team.
What you will do:
As a correspondence officer in the team you will be dealing with letter writing to the public on behalf of the council. These letters will relate to fines or unpaid fees to the council and as such will require somebody capable in tactful communication, advanced letter writing skills and an ability to read and respond accurately (to sometimes, displeased customers of the council).
What you need to succeed:
Ability to demonstrate previous experience in public correspondence
The council will conduct a letter writing test during the interview so please only apply if you are experienced and feel confident your writing skills are of a high standard.
