Are you a Disrepair or Repairs Manager with a proven track record of the operational management of repairs with a social housing provider?
 
If so, this 6-month rolling Local Authority Contact could give you just that. 
 
Who will you be joining?  
 
London Borough with a housing stock of over 30,000 properties in need of help with the management of an increasing volume of complex repairs and disrepair cases. 40% of the current cases relate to damp and mould but they have a variety of cases at differing stages that need resolution alongside an existing team of experienced Surveyors.
 
 
What will you do? 
·Manage 2 direct reports and 12 in direct reports.
·Manage the operational decisions to remain in within budget
·Liaise with the legal department and surveyors to establish the scope of works on a case by case basis.
·Provide technical reports required for legal purposes.
·Monitor works in progress to assess timescales, cost and quality standards are maintained.
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
 
·Previous experience of operational management relating to repairs & disrepair
·Building related degree
·Proven technical knowledge of residential building maintenance
·Previous responsibility for budgets more than £2million
