My client is looking for a competent technician / CAD drafter with highway and infrastructure experience to work on a variety of projects. 
 
The workload would include providing assistance to senior team members and producing in principle design drawings for planning submissions as well as detailed design drawings for Section 278 and section 38 approvals.  Ideal candidates will as a minimum have a relevant BTEC qualification or similar, with previous experience and will be able to demonstrate excellent AutoCad skills as well as a knowledge of highway design standards such as the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and Manual for Streets.  Experience of 3D modelling is also desirable. Occasional site visits may be required and as such a driving licence and access to a car would be beneficial.
