Job description

My client is seeking an enthusiastic CAD Technician with some previous experience to join their growing team and assist the senior professionals in delivering development planning projects across the country.
 
The role will include:
 
Using AutoCAD to prepare simple highway designs;
Assisting Senior/Principal Technicians in the preparation of more complex highway designs;
Undertaking swept path analysis;
Obtaining and overlaying boundary and Title information;
Commissioning data collection; and
Preparing technical figures for inclusion within Transport Assessments.
 
Applicants should:
 
Have previous experience using AutoCAD;
Be able to prioritise and manage your own workloads;
Have good attention to detail and accuracy in the preparation of technical work;
Have good verbal and written communications skills; and
An understanding of highway design principles is desirable but not essential.
