We are currently looking for a CAD Technician to join one of the fastest growing consultancies in the UK. The role will offer flexible working and the ability to work remotely when needed.
 
As a CAD Technician, you will join a vibrant team and work on major prestigious projects within Kent and across the UK.
 
 
The role
·To assist in the production of all Highway/Traffic/Parking Team drawings, and across the other company business areas where necessary.  
·To ensure that all drawings and related documents are prepared and controlled in accordance with the CAD QA system.  
·Assist in ensuring all project files are up to date and comply with the CAD QA system.  
·Maintain personal development of knowledge/skills in the application of CAD and related software packages used.  
·To be flexible - demonstrate a flexible approach to carrying out any duties that are outside the daily requirements of the job but within your capability when required by management.  
 
 
The ideal candidate
·AutoCAD training / qualifications.  
·A minimum of 2 year's relevant experience.  
·Consideration given to significant relevant experience in lieu of specified education and professional qualifications.  
·Knowledge of one or more of AutoSign, Autotrack, KeySigns and KeyLines highly desirable.  
·Understanding of highways and traffic engineering techniques and principles.
·Knowledge of relevant technical / industry standards.  
·Working knowledge of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual and relevant British Standards.
·Aspiring & developing to become professionally qualified with an industry institution, i.e  ICE / CIHT.
