Carrington West are looking for a highly effective Business Support Coordinator. This is a new role for the business and would have responsibility for the smooth running of our lakeside office facilities with the opportunity to support a variety of business functions, such as Marketing, IT, HR and event planning.

This is an exciting and varied role with the opportunity to support a multi-award-winning business in their rapid growth plans.

 

The role

As Business Support Coordinator you will be response for:

  • Highly effective organisation of all office operations

  • Leading and managing the admin assistant, delegating work where necessary and providing support

  • Managing health and safety as well as fire regulations within the office

  • Supporting the marketing function to include:

    • Posting job adverts from our consultants on social media

    • Sharing industry articles on social media

    • Website admin

    • Management of Shutterstock account

    • Take staff headshots for the website

    • Organisation and management of promotional collateral

    • Source prices for client gifts or promotional items

  • Supporting the HR team with various tasks such as:

    • Assistance with management of company policies

    • Support in employee engagement survey admin

    • Management of LMS admin

    • Support with recruitment activity

  • Main point of contact for any first line IT issues in the office including:

    • Setting up computers and telephones for new starters

    • Assisting with desk moves

    • Maintenance of printers, including changing ink cartridges

    • Assisting with any IT issues

  • Assisting Directors and Consultants with writing bids and tenders for Clients

  • Planning and organisation of company social events.

  • General office upkeep, including arranging any repairs and liaising with our cleaning company.

  • General PA duties including arranging travel and accommodation plans for Directors.

Requirements

  • Experience in one or more of the following is essential: IT, HR, Marketing or PA

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive towards work tasks, and able to take own initiative
