Are you a Chartered Surveyor experienced in the management and resolution of Residential Repairs cases?
If so, this 3-month rolling Local Authority Contact could give you just that.
Who will you be joining? London Borough in need of help with the management of an increasing volume of annual maintenance cases alongside an existing team of experienced Surveyors.
What will you do? ·Maintenance surveying service to all (void and occupied) properties, to assess condition and identify building defects, to diagnose and specify appropriate remedies. ·Assist with insurance claims requiring technical input, specifying, and implementing works as necessary. ·Planned/cyclical maintenance programmes within specified areas. ·Pre and post inspections as necessary to ensure specified works are undertaken to contract standards. ·Prepare schedules of repairs, specifications and technical drawings and issue or supervise works to general repairs, voids, disabled adaptations, or specialist works. ·Support disrepair claims including issuing or supervising, specifying and implementing agreed schedules of works in order to minimise the loss to the organisation.
What do you need? To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
·Qualified to degree level in Surveying. ·Chartered Member status and Registered expert witness a bonus. ·Previous experience preparing and presenting reports. ·Full driving licence - must have access to a vehicle to carry out their duties
