Are you a Bid Manager looking to work for a large communications company based in North Lincolnshire?
 
My client is a leading communications company who is looking for a Bid Manager for an immediate start.
 
The role is based primarily in North Lincolnshire with some occasional travel required.
 
Salary: Up to £50,000 PAYE dependent on experience.
 
Job Role:
·Responsible for preparing, verifying and Submitting documents to respond to Customer enquiries
·Preparation of Bids and Tenders
·Interpretation of customer requirements
·Timely planning, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Bid Documentation and Quotes
·Collation of required data to complete bid submissions, including pricing.
·Implement and manage the bid process from end to end ensuring submissions are completed to deadlines
·Identify opportunities to enhance the process
·Responsible for a comprehensive range of bought out requirements associated to production, proposals and bids.
·Compiling, updating and maintaining a library of company standard tender documentation and maintaining records relating to submissions and successes
·Responsible for project managing large, strategic bids on a national / international basis
 
Requirements:
·Significant experience in a bid and quotation environment preferably in the Rail industry.
·Can understand and interpret the questions within the pre-qualification questionnaire and tender documents;
·Familiar with the method of bid and tender release, including e-tendering portals
