Are you a Bid Manager with a background in rail infrastructure, design and construction?

Do you have excellent people management and commercial skills?

My client is a forward-thinking and fast-growing railway contractor with an excellent reputation nationwide. Due to company growth, they are recruiting a Bid Manager to prepare winning bids and take ownership of the end-to-end bid process for contracts within the Railway industry.

This would suit a knowledgeable and experienced Bid Manager with the ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.

Location: Doncaster
Hours: 40 per week, flexible WFH
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 P/A

Responsibilities:

  • ·Develop a efficient bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge from staff.
  • ·Review the business strategy and identify business opportunities in line with this.
  • ·Discover companies to build partnership with and assist with developing PQQ and tender responses.
  • ·Meet company objectives by securing work by value and type.
  • ·Develop and implement strategies for winning bids and allocate opportunities to other team members.
  • ·Oversee preparation of handover packs and handover to operational teams at contract award.


Requirements:

  • ·Highly skilled in concise and active bid writing within the railway industry
  • ·Possess excellent knowledge and understanding of the railway infrastructure industry
  • ·Able to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure and manage multiple workstream opportunities.
  • ·Able to develop long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, up to Director level.
