We're working with a well-established, design-led building services consultancy looking to appoint an Associate Electrical Engineer in Birmingham. This is a key hire, taking ownership of technical delivery and leadership of a growing electrical team, currently 3 strong, with clear plans to expand.

Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the electrical discipline from a technical delivery perspective
·Oversee and review design output across all project stages (RIBA 1-5)
·Manage and mentor a growing team of engineers (currently 3)
·Take an active role in recruitment, team development and future growth strategy
·Act as a key client-facing lead, attending meetings and providing technical direction
·Ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant and efficient electrical designs
·Collaborate with wider MEP teams on integrated project delivery
What they're Looking For:
·Strong background in electrical building services design within consultancy
·Experience leading projects and mentoring or managing engineers
·Comfortable taking ownership of technical delivery and quality assurance
·Client-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain relationships
·Knowledge of UK regulations, standards and sustainable design practices
·Ideally working towards or already Chartered (CIBSE/IET)
