Role: Assistant Project Manager (Drilling/Piling/Dewatering)
Location: Within 1.5 hours' commute of Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum + company car or car allowance
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
 
Are you an Assistant Project Manager with experience in managing drilling, piling or dewatering projects?
 
My client, a multi-sector civil engineering contractor, is looking for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager who has the drive to become a Project Manager in the future, to implement groundwater control schemes for projects in various sectors such as water, rail, highways, and housing construction.
 
The ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands or South of England, as this is where most of the sites are allocated. Occasional attendance of the Hertfordshire office is required, as well as occasional staying away for further afield sites.
 
Your role will involve supervising site activities, liaising closely with subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining records of activities including the collection or monitoring data, performing line management duties and preparing,/negotiating monthly payment applications.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
·Degree (or equivalent) in Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or similar related field.
·Experienced in managing drilling, piling or dewatering projects.
·A full, clean, UK Driver's License.
