Carrington West are assisting their Local Authority client in the search for an Assistant Director of Growth and Regeneration on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be part of the leadership team and hold line management responsibility for a particular service area as well as strategic and leadership responsibilities across the wider service.

The successful applicant will take a lead on a number of regeneration projects, providing strategic leadership to project teams, partners and stakeholders, thus requiring experience in terms of negotiating with developers and attracting investors to come in, whilst also working with communities and existing businesses.

Key focuses will also include generating more job opportunities, stimulating enterprise, accelerating housing growth and delivering on the physical transformation of the city centre.

Experience within a similar position is necessary with a proven track record in thinking innovatively and strategically demonstrating the successful delivery of regeneration schemes. You should hold a Post-graduate degree in planning, regeneration or a related discipline.
 

Annual Salary - £85,000 to £95,000 per annum
