Are you a Surveyor experienced in Asbestos Management & Refurbishment / Demolition surveys and re-inspections?
If so, this 3-month rolling Local Authority Contact could give you just that.
 
What will you do?
The objective of the role is to Produce comprehensive asbestos survey reports and guidance documentation. Carry out safety inspections, provide project management advice and recommendations on surveys and removal works.
Support the Corporate H&S Asbestos Manager to provide a high-level asbestos management service across all Council services, Contractors and Stakeholders, to facilitate effective asbestos management and compliance within the Councils property portfolio.
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
·BOHS qualified asbestos surveyor - must have P402 and P405 qualifications.
·At least 3 years' experience.
·Experience of working within the public sector / housing would be preferred.
·Duty to manage and project management responsibilities form a large part of work, not just surveys and re-inspections.
