Are you an Architectural Technician with Transportation experience?

Are you looking for a contract opportunity with a leading national consultancy?

My client is looking for Architectural Technicians/Technologists to join their growing architectural Glasgow team working on a variety of projects including Transport, Aviation, and Defence, coordinating with other engineering disciplines across their portfolio.

Rate: £17 - £23 per hour, Inside IR35 Umbrella.
Duration: 6 months to start, ongoing. 37 hours per week.
Location: Glasgow/remote working. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK as this will be initially remote, however the client's preference is for people to be located in the central belt of Scotland.

Requirements:

• Experience of working with Revit essential.
• Previous work experience within an Architectural Practice in the UK or similar environment is required.
• Awareness of relevant current technical building legislation and guidance such as Building Regulations and British Standards.
• AutoCAD/Microstation knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience in Aviation, Defence & Transportation projects would be beneficial.
• Other software experience including Infraworks and BIM360 would be beneficial.
• Good technical and detailing skills.
