Are you an Adaptations Surveyor looking for an exciting new full-time role within a Local Authority?
We have a great opportunity for an Aids and Adaptations Surveyor to join our clients Property Services Team within a London Borough.
Role
·To assist the Aids and Adaptations manager to co-ordinate an efficient, cost effective and customer focused Adaptations service with Islington Councils Responsive Repairs.
·Ensuring the effective delivery of Adaptation building design and maintenance solutions for LBI and its clients ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and industry best practices.
·To develop contacts with partner organisations to ensure that effective working relationships are maintained and developed.
·To ensure Adaptations contractual performance and customer satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
Candidates will ideally have: -
·Have relevant qualification.
·Proficient in AutoCAD.
·Ability to carry out home/site visit to produce measured survey and drawing using AutoCAD.
·Able to liaise with Occupational Therapist team and contractors alike ensuring good running of the service.
·Ability to work jointly with your peers monitoring contractors' performance.
·Have knowledge of stairlift, hoist, etc.
·Experience of working with NHF Schedule of rates
·Experience in using MS word, Excel.
·Be empathetic when dealing with our vulnerable s/users.
