Site Agent Needed in the Southern Region
Salary £50,000-£60,000
Are you ready to take on exciting civil engineering projects in the Southern Region?
Due to our expanding portfolio and increased workload, we're on the lookout for an experienced Site Agent to join our dynamic team. If you're based around West Sussex, Surrey, or Hampshire, this opportunity could be perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage site staff, operatives, and subcontractors efficiently.
·Prepare and monitor programmes of work.
·Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans.
·Understand tender allowances and monitor contract costs against budgets.
·Coordinate design activities.
·Assess and engage subcontractors.
·Administer contract changes effectively.
·Foster positive relations with clients and local communities.
·Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Skills Required:
·Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent.
·Up-to-date SMSTS qualification and appropriate CSCS card.
·Experience in managing civil engineering projects, including highways works, earthworks, and structures.
·Proficient in people management and motivation.
·Strong organizational skills with forward-thinking abilities.
·Eligible to work in the UK with a full UK driving license.
