Job description

This is an incredible and unique opportunity for a mid-senior Interior Designer to be working on a high-end education project with an AJ100, award winning firm! A well established Interior Architecture firm in South West London, best known for their high-profile detailed focused projects across the commercial, residential and hospitality sectors are on the search for an Interior Designer/Senior Designer.
 
The ideal candidate will have worked on a range of projects, worked closely with Architects and had some exposure to management of other staff. You will be working on this project from initial design, concept development to implementation, ensuring the project meet the unique needs and requirements of each educational institution, whilst maintaining a high-end edge.
 
Responsibilities:
·Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and requirements for educational spaces. OR have worked on mixed use commercial projects.
·Develop innovative design concepts that enhance learning environments and promote student engagement.
·Create detailed interior design plans, including floor plans, furniture layouts, and material specifications.
·Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment (FF&E) that meet project budgets and timelines.
·Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.
·Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that designs are implemented according to specifications and standards.
 
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
·Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on educational projects.
·Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
·Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and sustainability principles will be ideal.
