Job description

Our esteemed client are embarking on a significant Public Realm scheme in Lincoln, focusing on roads and drainage enhancements. To ensure the success of this project, we are seeking a skilled General Foreman to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring work progresses efficiently and safely.
·Manage a team of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, delegating tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
·Implement and enforce strict health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
·Liaise with stakeholders and members of the public, maintaining positive relationships and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
·Monitor site progress, reporting to project managers and providing regular updates on milestones and challenges.
·Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project, conducting inspections and addressing any issues promptly.

Requirements:
·Proven experience as a General Foreman, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.
·Experience working on public-facing projects, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Strong knowledge of roads and drainage works, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
·Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
·Valid First Aid certification.
·Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
·Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues on-site.
·Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
