Role: Gatesman / Site Supervisor - Waste Water Treatment plant
Salary: £30-35,000 and £35,000 - £40,000 is available if you hold a WAMITAB qualification
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm 37 hours a week

My client is looking to recruit a Gatesman / Site Supervisor to work on their Basildon site.
 
The site location is a water treatment plant that accepts sewage from commercial and industrial clients and this working environment many not be suitable all people.
 
In the is role your main responsibilities will be:
 
- Logging deliveries - Eg taking vehicle registrations, company names and volumes of deliveries
- Taking samples from deliveries ( raw sewage) and dispatch to laboratory for testing
- Logging and checking documentation
- Ensure day to day running of the site
 
This role working on a waste water ( sewage) treatment site and would suit anyone who has exposure to the hazardous waste sector or is comfortable working in th water treatment works that is used to checking compliance of delivers, a scientific background for example if you have worked as any of these roles your skills would be transferable.

Any role with in the Hazardous Material sector
 
On offer is a Monday - Friday position working 37 hours a week.
 
You can expect a salary of between £30-35,000 as a starting rate and you will receive training where you will work towards a CIWM WAMITAB COTC level 4. Note if you hold this qualification a starting salary of £35-40,000 is available.
